Lack of yachting experience is not a reason for missing United Sailing Week! First timers can participate in the regatta as part of the combined teams under the guidance of a professional skipper.
It's simple!
We have simplified the participation terms for beginners as much as possible. So there is no need to search for a yacht, crew and housing. We have created an individual package based on all inclusive principle. The package's fixed cost already includes an entry fee, a tourist tax, a place on a comfortable yacht with accommodation, skipper's services, participation in all the races as well as on land events of the regatta, photo and video materials, souvenirs and prizes.
It is safe!
Before the start of the regatta, we will conduct a "novice fighters training" for beginners to teach, explain and show them everything. During the race the boat will be sailed by an experienced skipper who will not allow dangerous situations.
It is comfortable!
Our entire fleet will be divided into three classes — Sport, Performance and Bareboot. Beginners will compete within the Bareboat class, for which we have developed a "lightweight" race program with less complex distances and extra time for rest.
It's fun!
The regatta is not only about racing. It also includes an exciting on land program with like-minded people so you will have heaps of chances for interesting networking. The center of the on land regatta activities will be our tent on the coast. Our everyday lunches, festive dinners, ceremonies of awards and parties will be held there.
